Ocean Acoustics Modeling
We have the expertise to model underwater sound propagation in diverse environments including shallow water, deep ocean, and the Arctic. We have the capability to reliably predict short-range and long-range underwater sound propagation from various sources such as seismic sources, vessels, marine mammals, and construction activities. Ocean Acoustic Data Analysis
We analyze acoustic data collected by a variety of platforms including towed hydrophone arrays, fixed hydrophones, and autonomous recorders. We specialize in using AI and cloud computing to process large acoustic data sets including long-term ambient noise, large hydrophone array, and Distributed Acoustics Sensing (DAS) recordings. Acoustical Array Signal Processing
We use modern signal processing and machine learning algorithms for detection, classification, localization (2D or 3D), and tracking of a signal-of-interest in the ocean including marine mammal vocalizations, ship noises, and communication signals.
